-Max-
Update: Max was having locking issues cause by a direct kick to the
stifle. After months of mild therapy, Max is now continuing his training
and will be available for adoption.
Max was rescued in February of 2006. He had been put out to pasture with five other horses for the Fall and Winter months and was never checked on again until he was found in this condition. He was extremely emaciated and bald from having a severe case of rain rot. I was told that he had moonlight blindness in one eye, but after getting him home it was obvious that he was completely blind in his left eye. At one point or another he had been kicked in the face which may have been the initial cause. With the proper feeding, teeth floating and vaccinations, Max has put on close to 250 lbs and he now has a beautiful jet black coat that really brings out his beauty. Max is currently in training, he will make an excellent dressage or hunter/jumper for a child. Once his training is complete he will be available to go to a new home.
Max is a 7 yr old 15.3 Registered Quarter Horse. His father was a multimillion dollar QH Racer. He has outstanding bloodlines and when this guy moves, WOW !!!
